Ingredients

			Chocolate
- 5 (1 ounce) squares chopped white chocolate
- 1 (1.55 ounce) bar milk chocolate candy
Cookies & Marshmallows
- 20 oatmeal cookies
- 1 cup miniature marshmallows
Instructions
- Prepare White Chocolate: Melt the white chocolate in a double boiler. Spread it evenly over the bottoms of 10 of the oatmeal cookies, ensuring an even coating that will hold other ingredients.
- Assemble Cookies: Break the milk chocolate bar into 10 equal pieces. Place one piece of milk chocolate onto the white chocolate side of each of the 10 cookies with melted white chocolate.
- Add Marshmallows: Top the milk chocolate pieces with miniature marshmallows, distributing them evenly for the perfect gooey texture when melted.
- Create Sandwich: Place the remaining 10 oatmeal cookies on top, pressing gently to form a chocolate-marshmallow sandwich without squishing the marshmallows too much.
- Toast Cookies: Using tongs, carefully toast the cookie sandwiches over a campfire or on a stovetop heat source until the chocolate and marshmallows have melted and become gooey, approximately 3 minutes. Rotate as needed to prevent burning.
- Serve: Allow to cool slightly and enjoy your warm, gooey toasty campfire cookies immediately for the best experience.
Notes
- Use oatmeal cookies for a chewy texture that complements the melty chocolate and marshmallows.
- If you don’t have a campfire, toasting on a stovetop or grill works just as well.
- For an extra touch, try adding a sprinkle of cinnamon or crushed nuts inside the sandwich.
- Be careful when toasting to avoid burning the cookies or marshmallows.
- Serve immediately to enjoy the best melting effect.
