  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Wet Ingredients:

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Additional:

  • 1 cup chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. Preheat and Prepare: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish or a large loaf pan.
  2. Mix the Batter: In a large mixing bowl, beat together brown sugar, granulated sugar, and eggs until well combined. Slowly add oil while mixing. Stir in flour, salt, and vanilla until just combined. Fold in chopped pecans.
  3. Bake: Pour batter into the prepared dish, spread evenly, and bake for 30–35 minutes until golden and a toothpick comes out clean. Allow to cool before slicing.
