- 1 (8 oz) tub whipped topping (thawed)
- 1 (3.4 oz) box instant vanilla pudding mix (unprepared)
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 (21 oz) can strawberry pie filling
- 2 cups mini marshmallows
- 1 cup fresh strawberries (sliced)
- 1/2 cup crushed pineapple (drained)
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the Base: In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the vanilla pudding mix and milk until smooth and slightly thickened.
- Combine Ingredients: Gently fold in the whipped topping until fully combined. Add strawberry pie filling, mini marshmallows, fresh strawberries, crushed pineapple, and nuts (if using). Stir gently to combine, being careful not to crush the fruit.
- Chill and Serve: Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors to meld and the salad to chill. Serve cold as a side dish or dessert.
Notes
- You can substitute cherry or raspberry pie filling for a twist.
- Omit nuts for a nut-free version.
