- 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 cup dry white wine (optional)
- 1 can (28 oz) crushed tomatoes
- 1/4 cup tomato paste
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh basil or parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the Rigatoni: Boil rigatoni until al dente, then drain and set aside.
- Prepare Sausage Mixture: Cook sausage, onion, garlic, red pepper, and oregano. Add wine, tomatoes, and paste. Simmer, then add cream, salt, and pepper.
