			Steak and Vegetables
- 1.5 lbs sirloin steak, cubed
- 1 lbs gold or baby potatoes, whole or halved
- 3 corn on the cob, halved or cut into thirds
Seasonings and Butter
- 1/2 cup salted butter
- 4 garlic cloves, roughly chopped
- 2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp thyme
- 1/2 tsp rosemary
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
Instructions
- Prepare the ingredients: Cube the sirloin steak into bite-sized pieces. If using larger potatoes, halve or quarter them to ensure even cooking. Cut the corn cobs into halves or thirds depending on size.
- Mix seasoning and butter: In a bowl, blend the salted butter with chopped garlic, salt, pepper, paprika, thyme, rosemary, and onion powder until well combined.
- Layer ingredients in slow cooker: Place the potatoes in the bottom of the slow cooker. Add the cubed steak on top of the potatoes. Arrange the corn pieces on top of the steak.
- Add butter mixture: Evenly distribute the seasoned butter over the steak, potatoes, and corn.
- Cook slowly: Cover the slow cooker and cook on low heat for 6 hours, or until the steak is tender and the potatoes are cooked through.
- Serve: Once done, stir gently to combine flavors and serve hot, ensuring each plate gets a mix of steak, potatoes, and corn coated in the delicious garlic-herb butter.
Notes
- Use sirloin or another tender cut of steak for best results.
- For quicker cooking, you can cut potatoes smaller, but ensure pieces are roughly uniform for even cooking.
- You can add fresh herbs for extra aroma, but dried herbs work well in slow cooking.
- Adjust seasoning to taste before cooking. Add more salt or paprika if desired.
- If you prefer more sauce, add a splash of beef broth before cooking.
