Description

Delicious and easy no-bake peanut butter bars with a creamy peanut butter base, graham cracker crumbs, and a rich chocolate topping. Perfect for a sweet snack or dessert, these bars are quick to prepare and require no baking.

Ingredients

Scale

Base Layer

  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 3/4 cups powdered sugar

Topping

  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 2 tablespoons creamy peanut butter (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Mix the Base: In a large bowl, combine 1 cup of creamy peanut butter, melted unsalted butter, graham cracker crumbs, and powdered sugar. Stir well until the mixture is smooth and evenly combined, forming a thick dough.
  2. Press into Pan: Grease a 9×13-inch pan. Press the peanut butter mixture firmly and evenly into the pan using a spatula, smoothing the surface for an even layer.
  3. Melt Chocolate Topping: Place the semi-sweet chocolate chips and 2 tablespoons of creamy peanut butter in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat in 30-second intervals, stirring between each session, until the mixture is fully melted and creamy.
  4. Spread Chocolate: Pour the melted chocolate and peanut butter mixture over the pressed base layer. Use a spatula to spread it evenly across the top.
  5. Chill and Set: Refrigerate the assembled bars for at least 2 hours or until the chocolate topping has completely set. Once firm, cut into 24 squares and serve.

Notes

  • For easier cutting, warm the knife slightly before slicing the bars.
  • You can substitute creamy peanut butter with natural peanut butter but ensure it’s well mixed to avoid oil separation.
  • Store the bars in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.
  • Optionally, add a pinch of salt to the base mixture to enhance flavor balance.
