  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 small onion (diced)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 2 cups low-sodium beef or chicken broth
  • 1 (14.5 oz) can diced tomatoes (with juices)
  • 8 ounces uncooked short pasta (penne, rotini, or shells)
  • 3 cups fresh spinach (chopped)
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese


Instructions

  1. Cook Ground Beef: Heat olive oil in a large skillet, cook ground beef until browned.
  2. Sauté Aromatics: Add onion, garlic, salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes.
  3. Add Liquid & Pasta: Pour in broth, diced tomatoes, and pasta; simmer until pasta is tender.
