Description

Melt in Mouth Chicken is a deliciously creamy and flavorful baked chicken dish featuring boneless, skinless chicken breasts coated with a Parmesan cheese and mayonnaise mixture seasoned with garlic and spices. This easy-to-make recipe results in tender, juicy chicken with a golden, bubbly topping, perfect for a comforting weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

Scale

Chicken

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

Topping

  • 1 cup mayonnaise or Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika

Garnish

  • Chopped fresh parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat and Prepare: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking dish to prevent sticking.
  2. Mix Topping: In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise (or Greek yogurt), grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and paprika. Stir until smooth and well blended.
  3. Coat Chicken: Place the chicken breasts evenly spaced in the prepared baking dish. Spread the cheese mixture evenly over the top of each chicken breast, ensuring full coverage.
  4. Bake: Place the baking dish in the oven and bake uncovered for 30–35 minutes until the chicken is fully cooked through and the topping is golden brown and bubbly.
  5. Garnish and Serve: Remove from the oven, garnish with chopped fresh parsley if using, and serve hot with your choice of sides like rice, mashed potatoes, or steamed vegetables.

Notes

  • Use Greek yogurt instead of mayonnaise for a lighter version of this recipe.
  • This chicken pairs well with rice, mashed potatoes, or steamed vegetables for a well-rounded meal.
  • For extra flavor, marinate the chicken breasts in lemon juice or Italian dressing for 30 minutes before baking.
