			Base Ingredients
- 2 cups cold milk
- 1 package (3.4 oz) vanilla pudding mix
Jello Layer
- 1 package (3 oz) Jello (any flavor)
- 1 cup hot water (for dissolving Jello)
- 1 cup cold water (to cool Jello)
Optional
- 1 cup whipped topping (optional for creaminess)
- Popsicle molds
- Sticks (if not included with the molds)
Instructions
- Mix Vanilla Pudding: In a mixing bowl, whisk together 2 cups of cold milk and the vanilla pudding mix. Stir vigorously for about 2 minutes until the mixture thickens and is well combined.
- Fold in Whipped Topping (Optional): If using whipped topping for extra creaminess, gently fold it into the pudding mixture until smooth and uniform.
- Dissolve Jello: In a separate bowl, dissolve the Jello powder in 1 cup of hot water. Stir thoroughly until completely dissolved with no granules remaining.
- Cool Jello: Allow the Jello mixture to cool slightly, then stir in 1 cup of cold water to bring the temperature down and help it set correctly.
- Layer the Popsicles: Pour a portion of the pudding mixture into the popsicle molds. Add a few tablespoons of the Jello mixture on top. Continue alternating layers until the molds are filled.
- Insert Sticks: If the molds don’t have built-in sticks, insert popsicle sticks into the center of each filled mold to prepare for freezing.
- Freeze: Place the molds into the freezer for at least 4 hours, or until the popsicles are completely solid.
- Remove Popsicles: To release the pops, run warm water briefly along the outside of the molds, then gently pull the sticks to remove the frozen treats.
Notes
- Use any Jello flavor for variety and fun combinations with the vanilla pudding.
- Folding in whipped topping is optional but adds a richer, creamier texture.
- Ensure to freeze for at least 4 hours to allow the popsicles to set fully.
- To easily remove popsicles, briefly run warm water over the molds’ exterior.
- These popsicles are suitable for a refreshing dessert or snack during warm weather.
