- 1 box Golden Grahams cereal (12 oz.)
- 2 bags mini marshmallows (10 oz. each)
- 6 tablespoons butter
- 1 1/2 cups milk chocolate chips
Instructions
- Prepare the Pan: Spray a 13×9-inch baking pan with cooking spray to prevent sticking and set it aside for later.
- Melt Butter and Marshmallows: In a large pan over medium-high heat, melt the 6 tablespoons of butter. Once melted, add the two 10-ounce bags of mini marshmallows. Stir continuously until the marshmallows are completely melted and the mixture becomes smooth, creamy, and well combined. Then, remove the pan from heat.
- Mix in Cereal and Chocolate Chips: Quickly add the entire box of Golden Grahams cereal into the melted marshmallow mixture. Carefully stir until the cereal is evenly coated with the marshmallow mixture. Immediately add the 1 1/2 cups of milk chocolate chips and gently stir just enough to distribute the chocolate chips evenly without melting them.
- Press into Pan: Transfer the mixture into the prepared 13×9-inch pan. Using lightly greased hands or a spatula to avoid sticking, press the mixture firmly and evenly into the pan so it holds together securely.
- Cool and Set: Allow the mixture to cool completely at room temperature until firm. This can take about 30-40 minutes.
- Slice and Serve: Once set, slice the mixture into 24 bars. Serve immediately or store in an airtight container for later enjoyment.
Notes
- For easier handling, lightly grease your hands or use a spatula to press the mixture into the pan.
- If desired, you can add chopped nuts or additional mix-ins before pressing into the pan.
- Store bars in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days or refrigerate for longer freshness.
- To make the bars more portable, wrap individual bars in parchment paper.
