- 4 medium russet or Yukon gold potatoes
Seasoning Mixture:
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 3 garlic cloves (minced)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves (or 1/2 teaspoon dried)
Optional:
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Chopped fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Prepare Potatoes: Wash and dry the potatoes. Make thin slices, stopping before the bottom.
- Seasoning: Mix olive oil, butter, garlic, salt, pepper, and thyme. Brush over potatoes.
- Bake: Bake for 45–55 minutes until tender, basting occasionally.
- Finish: Sprinkle with Parmesan in the last 10 minutes. Garnish with parsley.
Notes
