Description

These Grilled Chicken Gyro Wraps are a delicious and satisfying meal. Tender, marinated chicken strips are grilled to perfection and wrapped in warm pita bread with fresh veggies and creamy tzatziki sauce.

  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts (sliced into strips)
  • 1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

For Assembly:

  • 4 pita or flatbreads
  • 1 cup chopped lettuce
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup thinly sliced red onion
  • 1/2 cup cucumber (thinly sliced)
  • 1/2 cup tzatziki sauce

Instructions

  1. Marinate the Chicken: In a bowl, combine Greek yogurt, olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, oregano, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper. Add the chicken strips and toss to coat. Marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Grill the Chicken: Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Grill the marinated chicken for 4–5 minutes per side until fully cooked and charred.
  3. Assemble the Wraps: Warm the pitas or flatbreads. Layer lettuce, tomatoes, red onion, cucumber, and grilled chicken on each pita. Drizzle with tzatziki sauce and wrap tightly.
  4. Serve: Serve the wraps warm.
