For the Marinated Chicken:
- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts (sliced into strips)
- 1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 garlic cloves (minced)
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
For Assembly:
- 4 pita or flatbreads
- 1 cup chopped lettuce
- 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/4 cup thinly sliced red onion
- 1/2 cup cucumber (thinly sliced)
- 1/2 cup tzatziki sauce
Instructions
- Marinate the Chicken: In a bowl, combine Greek yogurt, olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, oregano, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper. Add the chicken strips and toss to coat. Marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Grill the Chicken: Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Grill the marinated chicken for 4–5 minutes per side until fully cooked and charred.
- Assemble the Wraps: Warm the pitas or flatbreads. Layer lettuce, tomatoes, red onion, cucumber, and grilled chicken on each pita. Drizzle with tzatziki sauce and wrap tightly.
- Serve: Serve the wraps warm.
