Ripe Peaches:
- 2 peaches, pitted and sliced
Fresh Lemon Juice:
- ¾ cup (about 4–5 lemons)
Honey or Granulated Sugar:
- ½ cup
Cold Water:
- 4 cups
Ice:
- 1 cup
Lemon Slices and Peach Slices for Garnish
Fresh Mint (optional)
Instructions
- Blend: In a blender, combine the sliced peaches, lemon juice, and honey or sugar. Blend until smooth.
- Strain: Pour the peach-lemon mixture through a fine mesh strainer into a pitcher to remove pulp, if desired.
- Mix: Add cold water and stir well to combine. Taste and adjust sweetness if needed.
- Chill: Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
- Serve: Fill glasses with ice and pour over the chilled peach lemonade. Garnish with lemon slices, peach slices, and a sprig of mint if desired.
Notes
- For a sparkling version, replace half the water with chilled sparkling water or club soda just before serving.
- Freeze peach slices to use as ice cubes for extra flavor.
