Description

Juicy and flavorful Garlic Butter Steak Bites made with tender sirloin steak, seared to perfection in a hot skillet, and tossed with a rich garlic butter sauce and fresh parsley. Ready in just 15 minutes, this dish is perfect for a quick and satisfying meal.

Ingredients

Scale

Steak Bites

  • 1 Tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 pounds sirloin steak (or your favorite cut of steak), cut into bite-size pieces
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Garlic Butter Sauce

  • 1/2 cup salted butter, softened
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 Tablespoon freshly chopped parsley

Instructions

  1. Prepare Steak and Garlic Butter: Cut the steak into bite-sized pieces and season them evenly with salt and pepper. In a small bowl, combine the softened butter with the minced garlic, mixing well. Set the garlic butter mixture aside.
  2. Heat Skillet and Cook Steak: Place a large cast iron skillet (or a regular large skillet) over high heat and add the olive oil. Once the skillet is hot, add the steak bites in a single layer without overcrowding the pan. Cook the steak in batches to ensure even searing.
  3. Cook to Preferred Doneness and Add Garlic Butter: Stir the steak bites and cook them to your desired doneness. For medium, cook for about 4 minutes. During the last minute of cooking, add half of the garlic butter to the steak bites, stirring continuously until the butter melts and coats the pieces. Remove the skillet from the heat and sprinkle with half of the chopped parsley.
  4. Repeat for Remaining Steak: Cook the remaining steak bites following the same method with the rest of the garlic butter and parsley. Once all batches are cooked, serve immediately while warm for the best flavor and texture.

Notes

  • Use a cast iron skillet for the best sear, but a regular skillet works fine as well.
  • Cooking steak in batches prevents overcrowding and ensures even browning.
  • For different doneness, adjust cooking time accordingly: rare (2-3 mins), medium rare (3-4 mins), medium well (5-6 mins).
  • Serve with a side of vegetables or over mashed potatoes for a complete meal.
  • Leftovers can be refrigerated for up to 2 days and reheated gently in a skillet.
