For the Peach Tea:
- 4 cups water
- 3 black tea bags
- 1 1/2 cups peach nectar or juice
- 1 fresh peach (sliced, optional)
- 2–4 tablespoons honey or sugar (adjust to taste)
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- ice cubes
- fresh mint for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Boil Water and Steep Tea: Bring 4 cups of water to a boil in a saucepan. Remove from heat and steep the tea bags for 5–7 minutes. Discard tea bags.
- Sweeten the Tea: Stir in honey or sugar while the tea is still warm.
- Add Peach and Lemon: Let the tea cool to room temperature. Stir in peach nectar and lemon juice.
- Chill and Serve: Transfer the tea to a pitcher and refrigerate until chilled, about 1–2 hours. Serve over ice with fresh peach slices and mint if desired.
Notes
- You can use green tea instead of black tea for a lighter flavor.
- For a stronger peach flavor, muddle fresh peaches into the tea before chilling.
