Description

Noodles:

  • 8 ounces lo mein noodles or spaghetti

Sauce:

  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sriracha (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon sugar

Stir-Fry:

  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 1/2 cup shredded carrots
  • 1/2 cup bell pepper (thinly sliced)
  • 1 cup snap peas or broccoli florets
  • 2 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 2 green onions (sliced)


Instructions

  1. Cook the noodles: Cook the noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Prepare the sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together sesame oil, soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, sriracha, and sugar.
  3. Stir-fry the vegetables: Heat vegetable oil in a skillet or wok. Add mushrooms, carrots, bell pepper, and snap peas or broccoli. Stir-fry until tender. Add garlic and cook briefly.
  4. Combine: Add cooked noodles and sauce to the skillet. Toss until heated through.
  5. Serve: Garnish with green onions and serve hot.
