Instructions
- Cook the Pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the spaghetti and cook according to the package instructions until al dente. While the pasta cooks, prepare the rest of the ingredients.
- Sauté Garlic: When the pasta is nearly done, heat olive oil in a small pan over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant but not browned.
- Add Tuna and Flavor: Stir in the drained tuna, lemon juice, and chopped parsley. Cook the mixture until heated through, allowing the flavors to meld.
- Combine Pasta and Sauce: Before draining the pasta, reserve a couple of tablespoons of the starchy pasta water and add it to the tuna sauce to loosen it. Drain the pasta and toss it thoroughly with the sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
