- 1/2 tsp turmeric
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika

- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 small onion (finely chopped)
- 4 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 tbsp grated fresh ginger
- 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce or purée
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 tsp sugar (optional)
- Fresh cilantro for garnish
For the Crispy Fries:
- 4 medium russet potatoes (cut into fries)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Marinate the Chicken: Combine yogurt, lemon juice, garam masala, cumin, coriander, turmeric, paprika, and salt. Add chicken, mix, and marinate.
- Prepare the Fries: Toss potatoes with oil, garlic powder, paprika, and salt. Bake until crispy.
- Cook the Chicken: Sauté onion, garlic, and ginger. Add marinated chicken, cook, then add tomato sauce and cream. Simmer until thickened.
- Finish and Serve: Adjust seasoning, serve butter chicken over fries, and garnish with cilantro.
