  • 1 tbsp grated fresh ginger
  • 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce or purée
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tsp sugar (optional)
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish

For the Crispy Fries:

  • 4 medium russet potatoes (cut into fries)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • Salt to taste


Instructions

  1. Marinate the Chicken: Combine yogurt, lemon juice, garam masala, cumin, coriander, turmeric, paprika, and salt. Add chicken, mix, and marinate.
  2. Prepare the Fries: Toss potatoes with oil, garlic powder, paprika, and salt. Bake until crispy.
  3. Cook the Chicken: Sauté onion, garlic, and ginger. Add marinated chicken, cook, then add tomato sauce and cream. Simmer until thickened.
  4. Finish and Serve: Adjust seasoning, serve butter chicken over fries, and garnish with cilantro.
