Description

This Cinnamon Roll Cheesecake combines the irresistible flavors of classic cinnamon rolls with a creamy cheesecake filling. Featuring a cinnamon roll crust, a smooth cream cheese mixture, and chunks of cinnamon rolls baked on top, this dessert is perfect for breakfast or as a sweet treat that will impress your guests.

Ingredients

Scale

Cinnamon Roll Crust and Topping

  • 2 cans of cinnamon rolls

Cheesecake Filling

  • 16 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 eggs

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) to ensure it’s hot and ready for baking the cheesecake.
  2. Prepare the Crust: Grease a 9-inch springform pan. Press one can of cinnamon rolls evenly into the bottom of the pan to form the crust layer.
  3. Make the Filling: In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, sugar, vanilla extract, and eggs together until the mixture is completely smooth and creamy.
  4. Pour Filling: Pour the smooth cream cheese mixture over the cinnamon roll crust in the springform pan, spreading it evenly.
  5. Add Cinnamon Roll Pieces: Cut the remaining can of cinnamon rolls into smaller pieces and place them evenly on top of the cream cheese mixture.
  6. Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the cheesecake is set and the cinnamon roll pieces on top are lightly browned.
  7. Cool and Chill: Remove from oven and allow the cheesecake to cool completely. Then refrigerate for at least 3 hours to let it firm up properly.
  8. Add Final Touch: Before serving, drizzle the included cinnamon roll icing over the top for added sweetness and decoration.

Notes

  • Make sure the cream cheese is softened to room temperature for a smooth filling.
  • You can use any brand of canned cinnamon rolls, but classic varieties with icing included work best.
  • Refrigerate for at least 3 hours or overnight to ensure the cheesecake is well set.
  • This dessert can be served chilled or slightly warmed depending on your preference.
  • If you prefer, substitute the sugar with a sugar alternative for a lower sugar version.
