Ingredients
Scale
Cinnamon Roll Crust and Topping
- 2 cans of cinnamon rolls
Cheesecake Filling
- 16 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 eggs
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) to ensure it’s hot and ready for baking the cheesecake.
- Prepare the Crust: Grease a 9-inch springform pan. Press one can of cinnamon rolls evenly into the bottom of the pan to form the crust layer.
- Make the Filling: In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, sugar, vanilla extract, and eggs together until the mixture is completely smooth and creamy.
- Pour Filling: Pour the smooth cream cheese mixture over the cinnamon roll crust in the springform pan, spreading it evenly.
- Add Cinnamon Roll Pieces: Cut the remaining can of cinnamon rolls into smaller pieces and place them evenly on top of the cream cheese mixture.
- Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the cheesecake is set and the cinnamon roll pieces on top are lightly browned.
- Cool and Chill: Remove from oven and allow the cheesecake to cool completely. Then refrigerate for at least 3 hours to let it firm up properly.
- Add Final Touch: Before serving, drizzle the included cinnamon roll icing over the top for added sweetness and decoration.
Notes
- Make sure the cream cheese is softened to room temperature for a smooth filling.
- You can use any brand of canned cinnamon rolls, but classic varieties with icing included work best.
- Refrigerate for at least 3 hours or overnight to ensure the cheesecake is well set.
- This dessert can be served chilled or slightly warmed depending on your preference.
- If you prefer, substitute the sugar with a sugar alternative for a lower sugar version.
