Description

These Christmas Sugar Cookie Truffles are the perfect no-bake holiday treat. Made with crumbled sugar cookies, cream cheese, and white chocolate, these festive truffles are easy to make and great for gifting or parties.

Ingredients

Scale

Sugar Cookie Truffles:

  • 2 cups baked sugar cookies (crumbled)
  • 4 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt

Coating:

  • 10 oz white chocolate or white candy melts (melted)
  • Red and green sprinkles for decorating

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Truffle Mixture: In a food processor or large bowl, pulse or crush the baked sugar cookies into fine crumbs. Add cream cheese, vanilla extract, and salt, and mix until fully combined into a thick dough.
  2. Shape the Truffles: Scoop out small portions (about 1 tablespoon each) and roll into balls. Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet and freeze for 15–20 minutes until firm.
  3. Coat the Truffles: Meanwhile, melt the white chocolate or candy melts in the microwave in 20-second intervals, stirring between each, until smooth. Dip each chilled truffle into the melted chocolate, letting the excess drip off, and place back on the parchment paper. Immediately top with red and green sprinkles before the coating sets.
  4. Chill and Serve: Chill for 10–15 minutes or until the chocolate is firm. Serve chilled or at room temperature.

Notes

  • Use store-bought sugar cookies to save time.
  • You can also flavor the dough with almond extract or a dash of cinnamon for a festive twist.
  • Store in the refrigerator for up to 5 days or freeze for longer storage.
