Description

A festive and creamy Christmas Cookie Dough Dip that’s perfect for holiday gatherings. Made with non-fat vanilla Greek yogurt, butter, cream cheese, and holiday sprinkles, this no-bake dip offers a deliciously sweet and safe-to-eat cookie dough flavor. It’s quick to prepare and pairs wonderfully with graham crackers, fruit, and other dippers.

Ingredients

Scale

Cookie Dough Dip

  • 1/2 cup non-fat vanilla Greek yogurt
  • 5 tablespoons butter, softened
  • 2 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup holiday sprinkles, divided

For Serving

  • Graham crackers
  • Fruit (such as strawberries, apple slices, or grapes)
  • Other dippers as desired

Instructions

  1. Heat Treat the Flour: Place the 1/4 cup of all-purpose flour in a microwave-safe bowl and heat on high for 40 seconds to reach 160°F, ensuring it’s safe to consume. Stir the flour thoroughly to break up any clumps before using.
  2. Mix Butter, Cream Cheese, and Sugar: In a medium bowl, combine softened butter, softened cream cheese, and powdered sugar. Using an electric mixer, beat the mixture until it becomes light and fluffy, about 2 minutes.
  3. Add Flour and Vanilla Extract: Add the heat-treated flour and vanilla extract to the bowl. Beat the mixture again for about 1 minute until fully incorporated.
  4. Incorporate the Yogurt: Gradually add the non-fat vanilla Greek yogurt in 1/4 cup increments, mixing on low speed to combine well each time. This creates a smooth and creamy texture.
  5. Stir in Sprinkles: Fold in half of the holiday sprinkles (about 1/4 cup), reserving the other 2 tablespoons to decorate the top of the dip later.
  6. Serve and Garnish: Spread the dip in a serving bowl and sprinkle the reserved 2 tablespoons of sprinkles on top for a festive look. Serve immediately with graham crackers, fruit, and your choice of dippers.

Notes

  • Heat treating the flour ensures it’s safe to eat raw by killing any bacteria.
  • Use softened butter and cream cheese for smooth mixing and a creamy texture.
  • Feel free to customize the sprinkles with your preferred holiday colors or themes.
  • This dip is best served immediately but can be stored covered in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
  • Let the dip sit at room temperature for about 10 minutes before serving if refrigerated, for the best texture.
