These Chicken Philly Sliders are a delicious twist on the classic Philly cheesesteak sandwich, featuring tender chicken, sautéed peppers and onions, and gooey provolone cheese, all baked to perfection on soft slider buns.

Chicken and Vegetables:
- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, thinly sliced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 1 small yellow onion, thinly sliced
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Slider Assembly:
- 6 slices provolone cheese
- 12 slider buns or Hawaiian rolls
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Instructions
- Preheat and Cook Chicken: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Cook chicken in olive oil until no longer pink. Add bell pepper, onion, garlic powder, salt, and pepper; cook until vegetables are soft.
- Assemble Sliders: Place bottom halves of buns in baking dish. Layer chicken and vegetables on buns. Top with provolone, then bun tops. Brush with butter and sprinkle with Italian seasoning.
- Bake: Cover with foil and bake for 10 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 5-7 minutes until golden and cheese is melted. Serve warm.
Notes
- You can prep the chicken and veggie mixture ahead of time and assemble the sliders just before baking.
- Add sautéed mushrooms or hot sauce for extra flavor.
