Ingredients
Scale
Chicken Filling
- 2 cups cooked chicken breast (shredded or chopped)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 garlic cloves (minced)
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
Wraps
- 4 large flour tortillas
- 2 tablespoons butter (melted)
- Fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Sauté Garlic: In a skillet over medium heat, heat the olive oil and add the minced garlic. Sauté for 30 to 60 seconds until fragrant but not browned, releasing its aromatic flavors.
- Prepare Chicken Mixture: Add the cooked chicken to the skillet along with garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Stir well and cook for 2 to 3 minutes to warm the chicken and meld the seasonings together.
- Add Cheeses: Remove the skillet from heat and stir in the shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheeses until they just melt and combine with the chicken for a creamy, cheesy filling.
- Assemble Wraps: Lay out the flour tortillas and divide the cheesy chicken mixture evenly onto the center of each. Fold in the sides of each tortilla and roll tightly to form wraps.
- Butter and Cook Wraps: Brush the outside of each wrap with melted butter. Heat a clean skillet or grill pan over medium heat and place the wraps seam-side down. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes on each side until the wrap is golden brown and crispy.
- Serve: Slice the wraps in half diagonally. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley if desired and serve hot with your choice of dipping sauces such as ranch, marinara, or garlic aioli.
Notes
- Add spinach, tomatoes, or sautéed onions for extra texture and flavor.
- These wraps pair well with ranch, marinara, or garlic aioli dipping sauces.
- Perfect for meal prep; reheat in a skillet or air fryer to maintain crispiness.
