Description

Delicious and easy-to-make BLT Wraps featuring crispy bacon, fresh lettuce and tomatoes, all wrapped in a soft Lavish bread with a creamy Dijon yogurt sauce. Perfect for a quick lunch or light dinner.

Ingredients

Scale

Wraps

  • 4 Lavish wraps (lavish bread)

Bacon

  • 12 strips bacon (16 oz package)

Vegetables

  • 2 cups chopped lettuce (2 romaine hearts)
  • 2 large tomatoes, sliced

Sauce

  • 1/2 cup plain low-fat Greek yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon red wine vinegar

Instructions

  1. Cook Bacon: Cook bacon according to package directions until it reaches your desired crispness. Once cooked, transfer the bacon strips onto a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess grease.
  2. Prepare Sauce: While the bacon is cooking, combine the plain low-fat Greek yogurt, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, and red wine vinegar in a small bowl. Whisk until smooth and well combined to create a creamy sauce.
  3. Assemble Wraps: Spread a generous scoop of the prepared sauce over the center of each Lavish wrap. Layer with a small handful of chopped lettuce, 2-3 slices of tomato, and 3 strips of crispy bacon. Carefully roll up each wrap tightly and repeat for all four wraps. Serve immediately for the best flavor and texture.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, you can add sliced avocado or a few fresh basil leaves to the wraps.
  • To make the wraps ahead, store the assembled wraps tightly wrapped in plastic wrap in the fridge for up to 2 hours to prevent sogginess.
  • Use turkey bacon as a lower-fat alternative if preferred.
  • Lavish wraps can be substituted with any large flour tortilla.
