			Chicken and Coating
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 ounce ranch dressing mix
- ½ cup breadcrumbs
- ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- ½ cup mayonnaise
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 9×13 inch baking dish using cooking spray to prevent sticking.
- Prepare Coating Mixtures: In a shallow dish, mix together the ranch dressing mix, breadcrumbs, and Parmesan cheese. In a separate shallow dish, place the mayonnaise.
- Coat the Chicken: Dip each chicken breast first in the mayonnaise, then dredge it in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to ensure the coating sticks evenly. Arrange the coated chicken breasts in the prepared baking dish.
- Bake the Chicken: Bake in the preheated oven for 40 minutes, or until an instant-read thermometer inserted into the thickest part of the chicken reads 165°F (74°C), indicating the chicken is fully cooked and safe to eat.
Notes
- To keep the chicken moist, avoid overbaking; use a meat thermometer to check doneness.
- For extra crispiness, broil the chicken for 2-3 minutes at the end of baking, watching carefully to prevent burning.
- This recipe can be doubled or halved as needed, adjusting baking time accordingly.
- Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
