This recipe is great for making cookie baskets! I wish I came up with it on my own. This recipe is from Allrecipes.com and was submitted by Jill Saunders.
Ingredients:
Directions:
1. In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugar until smooth. Beat in the eggs and vanilla. Stir in the flour, baking powder and salt and chill dough for at least one hour or overnight.
2. Preheat the oven to 400 degreese F. Roll out the dough on a floured surface 1/4 to 1/2 inch thick. Cut into shapes with a cookie cutter. Place cookies 1 inch apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
3. Bake 6-8 minutes in preheated oven. Cool completely and then serve.
